Oil Change Light Reset Lincoln Aviator 2004
The Oil Change Light Reset Lincoln Aviator 2004 will need to be performed after every oil change. If it is not reset the system will be unable to properly track when your next oil change is due.
Below is the procedure for the 2004 Lincoln Aviator. Follow the steps below to reset the oil life monitor after each oil change.
Oil Change Light Reset Lincoln Aviator 2004 Procedure
- Press and release the SETUP button twice until OIL LIFE = XXX% HOLD RESET = NEW is displayed.
- Press and hold the RESET button for 2 seconds until OIL LIFE SET TO 100% is displayed to reset the oil life to 100%
OR
- Press and release the SETUP button twice until OIL LIFE = XXX% HOLD RESET = NEW is displayed.
- Press and hold the RESET button for 2 seconds until OIL LIFE SET TO 100% is displayed to reset the oil life to 100%.
- Release the RESET button then press and release the RESET button to lower the percentage by 10% (down to 10%) for each button press or return the value to 100%.
