Oil Change Light Reset Honda Odyssey 2017
The Oil Change Light Reset Honda Odyssey 2017 will need to be performed after every oil change. If it is not reset the system will be unable to properly track when your next oil change is due.
Below is the procedure for the 2017 Honda Odyssey. Follow the steps below to reset the oil life monitor after each oil change.
Oil Change Light Reset Honda Odyssey 2017 Procedure
- Turn the ignition switch or start button to ON (II) with the engine off.
- Press and hold the SELECT/RESET knob for 10 seconds or more.
- The information display shows the reset mode initial display.
- Select oil life with the SELECT/RESET knob.
- Press and hold the SELECT/RESET knob for a few seconds to enter the oil life reset mode.
- Press and hold the SELECT/RESET knob for five seconds or more.
- The displayed maintenance items disappear and the engine oil life display will return to 100%.
- If the engine oil life indicator does not reset, repeat the steps.

- Turn the ignition switch or start button to ON (II) with the engine off.
- If system messages are displayed, press the INFO button to cancel the display.
- Display the engine oil life by repeatedly pressing the SEL/RESET button.
- Press and hold the SEL/RESET button for 10 seconds or more. The oil life reset mode is displayed on the multi-information display.
- Select RESET with the INFORMATION button, then press the SEL/RESET button.
- The service code will disappear and the engine oil life display will return to 100%.
- If the engine oil life indicator does not reset, repeat the steps.
