Oil Change Light Reset Honda Accord 2018
The Oil Change Light Reset Honda Accord 2018 will need to be performed after every oil change. If it is not reset the system will be unable to properly track when your next oil change is due.
Below is the procedure for the 2018 Honda Accord. Follow the steps below to reset the oil life monitor after each oil change.
Oil Change Light Reset Honda Accord 2018 Procedure
- Turn the ignition switch or start button to ON (II) with the engine off.
- If system message(s) are displayed to the multi-Information display.
- Press the Left Selector Wheel (on steering wheel) to cancel the display.
- Press the HOME button (just above Left Selector Wheel).
- Select “Maintenance” by rolling and pressing the Left Selector Wheel.
- Display shows the remaining engine oil life.
- Press and hold the Left Selector Wheel for 10 seconds or more.
- The “Maintenance Reset” mode appears on the multi-information display.
- If you wish to reset all the maintenance items shown on the display, select “All Due Items” by rolling the Left Selector Wheel, and press that wheel.
- If you reset each maintenance item individually, select an item (complete list of maintenance main item(s) and sub item(s)) you wish to reset by rolling and pressing the Left Selector Wheel.
- “Reset Completed” appears on the display and maintenance item code(s) will disappear.
- The engine oil life will reset to “100 %.”
- If the engine oil life indicator does not reset, repeat the steps.
