1. Without pressing the brake pedal, cycle the ignition to the MAR (ON) position (do not start the engine).
2. Press and hold the accelerator pedal.
3. Press and release the brake pedal 6 times; with a 1 second pause between each press.
4. After the 6th release of the brake pedal, pause 1 second and then release the accelerator pedal.
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
