Without Message Center
- Turn the ignition to the “RUN” position.
- Press the “SELECT/ RESET” stem button to display “OIL LIFE = % HOLD RESET = NEW”.
- Press and hold the “SELECT/RESET” stem for 2 seconds to reset to 100%.
- Turn the ignition off.
With Message Center
- Turn the ignition to the “RUN” position.
- Use the controls on the left of the steering wheel to scroll through menu.
- Press the up and down arrow buttons to select “SETTINGS” and then “VEHICLE”.
- Select “OIL LIFE RESET %” and then “OK” to reset.
- Turn the ignition off.
Oil Viscosity and Capacity
The 5.4 liter engine holds approximately 7 quarts (6.6 liters) of 5W-20 oil when the engine oil and filter are changed.
The 6.4 Diesel liter engine holds approximately 15 quarts (14.2 liters) of 15W-40 oil when the engine oil and filter are changed.
The 6.8 liter engine holds approximately 7 quarts (6.6 liters) of 5W-20 oil when the engine oil and filter are changed.
